PSCI 21900. THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE? PUBLIC OPINION & VOTING BEHAVIOR. This course focuses on two ways in which ordinary citizens can have their voices heard in the political process: through public opinion and by casting their vote. We assess different explanations for (changes in) public opinion and electoral behavior and consider the extent to which these expressions of the public voice affect politics and policy. [HSS, QL]
