ENVS 19904. Experiments in Everyday Life This experimental and emergent course will be a collaboration amongst all participants to explore hands-on responses to large-scale environmental concerns. There will be a set of required readings (including, but not limited to, essays by Barbara Kimmerer, Masanobu Fukuoka, and John Zerzan) that will help guide our exploration, but the progression of the course will be largely dependent on student interest. Some avenues of theoretical and hands-on exploration might include: practical forms of self-sufficiency in late capitalism, energy alternatives, and experiments in alternative political and economic structures.
