COMM-20011 Family Communication This course examines the interactions within family contexts, primarily focusing upon traditional and emergent definitions of family, types of families, and roles within the family. Topics include influences on family communication such as culture, religion, media, work, health, death, power, and intimacy. Additionally, this course will explore families in transition, storytelling in families, and the dark side of family communication. [W]
