CHEM 10103. Molecular World of Air and Water What is present in the air we breathe and the water we drink? We will explore the origins and fates of chemicals in the environment, with a special focus on air pollution, water quality, and climate change. Emphasis will be placed on case studies of past and current environmental concerns. Relevant chemical concepts will be introduced as needed to understand how molecules behave in the world around us. Suitable for non-science majors. Three class hours per week. No prerequisites, however students may not take CHEM-10103 concurrently with or after CHEM-11200. [Q, MNS]
